Murder trial begins today for former parole officer

Former Aiken County parole officer is on trial for the 2013 murder of her boyfriend Christopher Rowley. Prosecutors allege Rowley 31 was shot after an argument at her Ludlow Lake Road home on November 6 2013. The case arose after the victim Robin Herndon 42 died of a neck wound at an Augusta hospital. Herndon claims self defense saying Rowley threw keys on the roof and she feared for her life as the gun fired when Rowley touched it.
