Mardi Gras Parade Brings Beads and Family Fun to Aiken
In Aiken a second Mardi Gras parade drew the Frazer family and neighbors to The Alley and Laurens Street. Sophary Frazer recalled Louisiana roots and earned original beads from New Orleans contests. After the parade, a king cake ceremony hosted by La Dolce bakery capped the event. Jennifer Wilson and toddler Luke cheered and received keepsakes as the crowd danced for beads.
