Carol Roach a sixth to eighth grade teacher at Our Lady of Peace School North Augusta completed a week long Biomass Institute program in Columbia co sponsored by SC Farm Bureau and South Carolina Energy Office with a grant from the U S Department of Energy She earned three hours of graduate credit from Clemson University toward recertification This enhanced focus on agricultural energy sources boosts her ability to teach about food fiber and forestry products to students
