Seven co defendants charged with the Christmas Eve 2007 murder and kidnapping of Jeremy Leaphart appeal to a judge. Investigators say Leaphart was abducted from his Lexington home, taken to a Saluda County residence, made 10 calls pleading for ransom, then shot and dumped near an abandoned Batesburg home.
Lisa Shuttleworth vanished from her Beech Island home on Sept 4 2003 prompting ongoing family grief. Krystina Shuttleworth now 19 recalls her mother and pleads for any information to complete the case puzzle. Investigator Chuck Cain says Shuttleworth did not leave voluntarily.
Three men and a woman were arrested in a North Augusta and Aiken County burglary investigation. Clayton M. Manor 23 was charged with a golf cart theft. Michelle D Bul 20 Jesse L Edminster 24 Randall G Manor 27 faced multiple burglary and grand larceny counts. An undercover operation led to the final arrest.
