Multiple Property and Theft Incidents Reported Across Counties
Aiken County deputies logged numerous Wednesday reports including stolen vehicles after paid repairs, a Warrenville home break in with items missing, and a Bath laptop theft. Other incidents covered fraud on bank and credit card accounts, break ins on Justin Street Augusta Road Dancing Bear Lane and Buster s Place, a drunken condition found on Piney Heights Road, a vehicle break in on Newberry Street and gun theft on Cobbs Way. A Windsor home burglary also noted. A man arrested for driving with suspended license and another for simple possession of marijuana after a York Street store incident.

Aiken County to interview four superintendent finalists
The Aiken County Board of Education will interview four finalists for district superintendent this Saturday in executive session. Finalists are Sean Alford of Dorchester Two in Summerville Kevin O Gorman of Berkeley County Moncks Corner Mark Petersen of Greenwood 52 Ninety Six and King Laurence of Aiken County. The board meets at 8 a m in regular session then proceeds to executive interviews and reconvenes at 5 p m to review and plan actions. A special-called meeting at 6 p m Tuesday at the district office will name the new superintendent.
