Baby's body found near Edgefield County home

The body of a dead baby was found Sunday in Edgefield County, coroner Thurmond Burnett said, believed to have been there for months. The body was found about a mile from the Aiken County line near a home with a North Augusta address. An autopsy was planned in Newberry to determine the cause of death.
