Courthouse Has Changed A Lot In 100 Years
Aiken County Courthouse, built in 1881 by J W Woodward and designed by R W McGrath, has undergone major remodeling in 1934 by Willis Irvin and a 1977 renovation costing 46000 dollars adding central air and energy upgrades. The 100 year old Greek Revival building features a central clock tower and green exterior.
