The Aiken County Planning Commission unanimously approved a new AT&T cell tower on New Holland Road in District 1 after minimal public input. Construction could begin in July after bond payments and documents are finalized. The commission also approved renaming Seastrunk Loop to Eubanks Loop and Cricket Tree Road to Temple Drive, with a county council review forthcoming.
