Houndslake plan shifts from townhomes to eight single family homes
The revised plan for Amberly Circle removes a 24 inch deodar cedar and reduces units from 37 townhomes to eight single family homes inside the loop. Ten trees were originally to be preserved. two of 10 have died, and the cedar is deemed unsavable due to 2003 plan inaccuracies. An arborist warns the trees are irreplaceable, and residents fear impacts on values and traffic. The planning commission will review the revised concept on July 12.
