North Augusta Robert Allen Buck died Wednesday in a Richmond County hospital. Buck resided at 647 Seymour Drive funeral arrangements by Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Buck was Augusta lifelong resident, veteran of U S Army, attendee of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Emma Buck Tampa Florida four brothers Aaron Buck Savannah Donald Buck Fleming Harold Buck Midway.
Funeral services for Macey Bryant husband of Dorothy Eubanks Bryant will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock in the George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with flowers accepted. Additional survivors include four grandchildren. Martinez George W. McKay died aged 66 at 221 Hightower Road in Augusta. He was a WWI and Korea War veteran, retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital, and a member of American Legion Post 63. Funeral 4 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home with burial at Belle Vue Memorial Gardens. The obituary notes his Maine birth and 35 years in Augusta.

Jackson town council approves the 1985 86 budget totaling 194000 with 89000 for salaries 14400 for gas and oil 13500 for group insurance and 12000 for utilities. It adopts amended meeting rules including agenda procedures executive session policy and speaker recognition with limited speaking times and zoning request provisions. A planning and zoning commission is named for 1985 86 and personnel policy amendments to comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act are approved while the roving city administrator contract is discussed and renewal decision postponed to July.
SCE&G reports crank calls impersonating company representatives. Some callers discuss delinquent bills or push home energy audits, though the utility does not normally call about delinquencies or conduct surveys by phone. An investigation is underway and customers are urged to report such calls.
South Carolina Chamber of Commerce members will describe Operation Baseline at a Monday 5 30 p m meeting hosted by the Aiken Chamber of Commerce in USC Aiken student activity center.
