Warrants have been issued for Michelle Hudgins and her husband Mark Hudgins both residents of Mockernut Circle in Woodside for exploiting a vulnerable elderly man. The 84 year old father of the couple’s relative was not having his nursing home bills paid and the family was alleged to have taken more than 30000 dollars. Michelle Hudgins surrendered to Aiken Public Safety on one count of exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Mark Hudgins is sought on the same charge and is reported to be out of the area awaiting surrender next week. The investigation began in April after a long term care ombudsman notified authorities.
