Public suggests five reforms for South Carolina justice
South Carolina Bar collects input from 450 participants at 10 public meetings statewide. The top five ideas target magistrate court improvements, funding and staffing, public legal education, expanded mediation and annual sensitivity training for judges and staff. The ideas will be reviewed at the Bar’s Asheville meeting with delegates receiving the final report.
