The United Way of Aiken County teams with Southside Gallery for the Art of Giving Auction at the Municipal Building Conference Center. On Wednesday June 26 the 7 p.m. event features a silent auction until 8 p.m. and a live sale until 10 p.m. Original oils prints etchings and more are on offer with prizes for attendees. Beyond the Bars a support group for people with loved ones in prison meets in Aiken on Thursdays. Members share experiences, coping strategies and information about visiting, parole hearings, and community resources. The group offers ongoing guidance and a confidential space for families and friends.
