County Crisis Line Moves to Own Office in Aiken
The Aiken County Crisis Line opens its own office in the Aiken County Complex after 34 years. The move may interrupt service briefly. calls during the outage will reach trained staff at 648-7990 or 648-5409. The line, now with 35-40 volunteers and two staff, saw call volumes rise from 626 in 1978 to 1,415 in 1980.
