Legislature Hammers Through Budget Votes in Special Session

The Senate and House advanced bills amid a budget stalemate as they work to finalize a fiscal year starting July 1. Votes favored a capital reserve measure, a $4.1 million aid plan for 22 counties hit by the February 2014 ice storm, and a roughly $300 million revenue plan with نصف funding for roads. A continuing resolution would keep government funded through July 24.
