Dorothea Benton Frank Discusses Folly Beach Novel
Bestselling author Dorothea Benton Frank promoted Folly Beach at a Books A Million signing in Aiken. She described years of research into Charleston writers Dubose and Dorothy Heyward and their collaboration with Gershwin on Porgy and Bess. Frank cautioned about shaping the book and answered readers questions, noting she would need to stay longer in a place to write accurately about it.
