South Carolina PTI offers second chances for defendants
Janet Jenkins oversees the Pre Trials Intervention program in the Second Judicial Circuit aiding about 200 defendants at a time. Eligible 17 plus defendants with limited prior crimes may have charges dismissed after 3 to 12 months of restitution, community service, counseling, and essays, with a $350 total fees.
