Couple Sentenced In Starving Death In Gretna La

In Gretna Louisiana, Theodore Anseman age 29 and Cheryl Anseman age 25 received the maximum 21 year prison terms after a manslaughter conviction for starving their 13 month old daughter Heather. Neighbors testified they offered medical help, but the couple refused. The pair face trial on cruelty charges for three other children under six. Judge Burns condemned the deaths as heinous and horrible.
