A heavy thunderstorm in Aiken County caused fallen limbs and localized flooding with outages mainly downtown from South Boundary to Richland Avenue. No homes reported damaged though some residents were trapped in vehicles near Kalmia Plaza. SCE&G could not confirm outage totals at press time. crews worked long hours on the response.
