An Aiken man, Dominique Paige 19, and a juvenile were detained on multiple counts of breaking into motor vehicles and related offenses in the Boardman Road and Magnolia Street area. Paige faces two breaking into motor vehicles charges, two counts of simple larceny, one possession of stolen goods, and one failure to comply. Reports show a 33-year-old Aiken man shoplifted shirts underwear and body wash on Richland Avenue. Two Barnwell women were detained for attempting to steal 95 dollars of merchandise from Richland Avenue. An 18-year-old Warrenville man was detained for trying to steal sunglasses at Aiken Mall. An Aiken woman reported a dog house stolen from Dupont Drive and a vehicle break in on Berringer Drive with a laptop and external hard drive missing. Nearby, a refrigerator and stove were reported stolen on Bethany Lane. A Warrenville woman reported clothing stolen from a Timmerman Street apartment hallway. A 32-year-old North Augusta man was detained for disorderly conduct on Five Notch Road smelling of alcohol. A burglary was reported on Charleston Highway with an air conditioner stolen. A bicycle was stolen from Chandler Drive in Beech Island.
