Repeat offender laughs: 12-year term in burglary case
Tyrick G Bright, 32, received a 12 year prison sentence after a jury found him guilty of second degree burglary for breaking into All Star Tents and Events at 156 Williamsburg Street on December 24 2011. He damaged and stole about 13000 in inventory while employed there. The case was prosecuted by Assistant Solicitors Nick McCarley and Beth Ann Young. Bright has a history of arrests including drug weapon and domestic violence charges. The Safe Communities initiative aims to hold a small group of repeat offenders accountable through a call in process.
