New York prosecutors said Frederick Schultz, 48, was convicted of receiving and possessing stolen Egyptian antiquities. He was sentenced to 33 months and fined $50,000 by Judge Jed Rakoff after a jury found him guilty in February. Witness Jonathan Tokeley-Parry testified he smuggled the Amenhotep III bust out of Egypt by hiding it in plastic and painting it black.
