Aiken Police Blotter Highlights DUI and Drug Cases
Early Sunday a driver on Silver Bluff Road was arrested for driving under the influence and simple possession of marijuana after a vehicle swerved. A separate Saturday incident on Whiskey Road yielded a small bag of marijuana and a three inch pipe with drug paraphernalia. Friday night a different man on Silver Bluff Road faced DUI charges after nearly colliding with a patrol car, with police noting multiple medications. An Augusta man on Silver Bluff Road was arrested for DUI after authorities found he had consumed numerous pills. A Burnettown man on Hilltop Court was arrested for driving under suspension. The report also lists stolen items from Old Wagoner Road and multiple building permits filed with Aiken County since June 8, 2002.
