Brass Bands Return To Danville For Great American Festival
In Danville Kentucky Ragtime Civil War era marches and brass band tunes fill streets this weekend for the Great American Brass Band Festival. Organizer George Foreman of Advocate Brass Band says the bands symbolize American life as more than 20 000 people attended last year. Ten brass bands and two ragtime ensembles will perform this year.
