Chill in Aiken banners brighten downtown summer
The city unveils the third Seasons of Character banner, depicting water droplets on cool blue tones from a Hopelands Gardens fountain photo by Linda Prior Hunley. National faculty Sally Jenkins helped craft the design. Banners span 10 intersections along Richland Park avenues and Whiskey Road, plus welcome visitors at Citizens Park, Weeks Center and Smith-Hazel Recreation Center, promoting honesty forgiveness and humor through August.
