Aiken-David Scott Blain Dies at 78 in Aiken
Aiken resident Aiken-David Scott Blain 78 died Sunday June 8 at home. He served in the National Guard and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass as an industrial engineer. He was husband of 29 years to H Summer and member of Harmony United Methodist Church and its Friday Men's Prayer Breakfast. He enjoyed Clemson football and time with family. Survivors include wife two sons seven grandchildren one great grandchild two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may go to the church building fund. Funeral arrangements are with Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.

Jones died Sunday June 8 2014 at Rainey Hospice House Born October 21 1932 in Aiken SC he worked 25 years at Coca Cola Bottling and 25 years at Suburban Propane He was a member of Roberts Presbyterian Church and enjoyed fishing square dancing gardening woodworking and gemology He is survived by his wife daughter two grandchildren stepdaughter two stepsons three great grandchildren and a brother Funeral services were held at Roberts Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery Memorials may be made to Roberts Presbyterian Church Sullivan-King Mortuary supports the family.
