Horse therapy gains momentum at Star Riding program
Kim Davies leads Star Riding Inc as it expands a disability program that teaches grooming, tacking up, riding, posting and steering. Riders gain motor skill and confidence as they prepare for events like the 2014 Special Olympics and the Aiken Horse Show in the Woods. Volunteers and $25,000 support from the Aiken Bluegrass Festival sustain the effort.
