Siamang Ape Sai Buri Adapts To Artificial Arm
In Seattle at Woodland Park Zoo a Siamang named Sai Buri born with her left arm lost to her father uses a first of its kind artificial arm. Dr Gary Okamoto helped design the device while zookeepers monitor Sai Buri's progress showing early adaptation as she learns to raise and use the prosthetic for feeding and interaction.
