Campbell lauds American Pharoah as Belmont record pace setter
Hall of Fame trainer Campbell predicts American Pharoah will conquer the Belmont amid doubts about the 14 furlong distance and track conditions. He praises the horse as superb this century, yet notes rival Affirmed’s historical challenge and hints Pharoah may race on through year end before Breeders Cup glory. Palace Malice is referenced as a track record concern and potential spoiler.
