Oilman Davis to Take Control of 20th Century Fox
Denver oilman Marvin Davis will own all voting stock of the merged company that will control 20th Century Fox Film Corp. The $800 million Fox Davis merger was approved by 79 percent of Fox shareholders at a special meeting in Los Angeles and becomes effective at 12:01 a.m. EDT Friday. Non voting stock will be owned by a foreign oil firm.

Annual Trenton Peach Festival Promises Food And Fun
The 11th annual Trenton Peach Festival runs Saturday June 20 from 8 am to midnight at S C 121 N. Activities include peach ice cream and baked goods, softball tournament June 15–18, beauty pageant Friday June 19, Peach Orchard Run, hot air balloon rides, park games, a parade, concerts, and a beach music dance with Band of Oz. Many events feature 105 gallons of peach treats and varied entertainment for all ages.
