Robbery Sprints Across North Augusta Building
A black male, 5 feet 4 inches, 120 pounds, fled a robbery route from the front door area around the north side to the rear parking lot and alley. North Augusta Public Safety, the Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team, FBI, and Aiken County Sheriff's Office aided the search as witnesses described the path and notes of the incident.

Body found in Missouri linked to missing teen case
Police identified the body found at a Grandview lake as 18 year old Kelsey Smith, missing four days after a suspected abduction in Overland Park. Authorities sought a videotaped man near the Target store and asked the public for information while urging vigilance. Greg Smith spoke at a Prairie Village church memorial.

Parcel split after historical plat errors prompts county refund debate
In 1936 a refund was recorded and Atomic Road cut the parcel in two with no revised plat. The 10.85 acre transfer to Myrtis Kemp in 1993 and the 1993 deed references the old plat. A 2000 distribution deed notes the 1936 plat while Oscar Kemp learns of the issue during a last year survey. County officials consider if refunds are lawful and open a precedent. The Administrative Committee moved to drop the matter, then Councilwoman LaVana McKenzie restored it to the agenda.
