Multiple local theft and break-in incidents reported in Aiken County
A Graniteville man reported a vehicle break-in on Jasmine Drive with no items missing. A Windsor man said his television was stolen on Nickel Top Road. Warrenville church break-ins on Cemetery Road and Pelzer Street led to missing items. Warrenville and Beech Island residents reported home and church property theft or damage. A North Augusta business on Edgefield and Laurens Streets saw mail and disorderly conduct arrest. Various shoplifting, vehicle, and theft cases noted on Whiskey Road, Robinwood Drive, Crosland Drive, Freiday Lane, Mossback Circle, Photina Drive, and Bevington Drive with several suspects detained or arrested. The report also includes stolen checks, a revolver, a dog, and a vehicle tool bag missing, plus a suspect caught on camera.

Three Aiken men charged after York Street traffic stop
A traffic stop on York Street led to charges for Devin Smith Julius Gardner and John Adams. Smith faced simple possession of marijuana violation of child restraint and unlawful carrying of a firearm. Gardner was charged with simple possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a pistol. Adams was charged with simple possession of marijuana. A Taurus pistol and a Smith and Wesson handgun were seized and a child in the back seat was released to a relative. The men were detained at Aiken County Detention Center with Gardner and Smith still held Friday.

Man Runs From Police After Family Fight
Aiken man arrested after a police foot chase through an apartment complex on Glen Arbor Court. Officers responded to a disturbance at 6:56 p.m. where the man kicked in his mother's door following a fight with his sister. He fled upon contact, leapt two fences, and was captured on Beams Road before being transported to and later released from the Aiken County detention center.

Aiken Technical College students in chef hats aprons and mustaches hosted an Italian bistro in the Student Activities Center cafeteria to raise funds for the College's Student Veterans Association. Plates of spaghetti donated by Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar sold for 5 dollars with all proceeds supporting SVA service projects for local veterans.
