Man dies in Wagener vehicle crash on Highway 39
A 40-year-old Wagener man Stanley A. Jones died at the scene of a single vehicle crash Thursday. He was traveling north on Highway 39 between Family Circle Road and Daytona Drive when he lost control of his 2000 model vehicle.

Palmetto Parkway bridge work narrows I-20 at night
Team United moves phase two on Palmetto Parkway ALAIW in North Anita by replacing the US 25 bridge over I-20 at exit 5. New beams will be set across westbound I-20 during the week of June 8 with a 10 pm to 6 am closure of the I-20 segment under US 25. Westbound I-20 traffic detours via exit 5 ramps.
