Five children left in a hot van at Walmart
Aiken County man Andee Walker, 48, is charged with five counts of unlawful conduct toward a child after admitting he left five children under 10 in a locked van in a Walmart parking lot on Richland Avenue. The vehicle was 89 degrees outside with the engine off and windows cracked. Walker reportedly left the store to shop in the garden center and returned about 30 minutes later.

Council weighs sale of old County Hospital parcels
