Premium gasoline tops $2 a gallon and regular lags. In New Ellenton prices Friday hovered around $1.82 per gallon while Aiken ranged from $1.85 to $1.89. Residents note lower New Ellenton pricing and consider future trends as a possible nickel to dime decline.
An 18 wheeler overturned a 30 000 gallon propane tank near Leitner and Marshall streets in Graniteville. Firefighters and troopers diverted traffic while a Lexington crane lowered the tank onto another trailer. No charges expected against the driver.
