Teen detained after attempting ammo theft at Fabian Drive store
An 18-year-old man, Devon Moses Johnson, was detained by the Aiken Department of Public Safety after trying to steal ammo at a Fabian Drive store. He was told he must be 21 to buy ammo and allegedly removed two rounds from a box before officers learned he was unarmed. He is held at the Aiken County detention center. A separate incident reports a Graniteville man, Christopher Deshawn Elmore, 26, standing intoxicated in a roadway with a sword and threatening a woman, charged with third degree assault and battery and disorderly conduct, held at the detention center.
