Two arrested after bar assault in North Augusta incident
A Beech Island man and an Appling Georgia man were arrested for third degree assault and battery after an incident at Haze's on Belvedere Clearwater Road. The victim claimed an altercation with punches and threats with an ax seen, and a pistol allegedly hidden in a truck. Police inventory revealed hydro codone pills, methamphetamine, a firearm, multiple blades, a shotgun stock, and shotgun shells. Warrants were sought for possession of controlled substances.
