After weeks of talks Owens-Corning Fiberglas and the local Teamsters Union ratified a one-year contract for the Aiken plant. The deal provides a 3 percent wage increase a $600 bonus and a successor language ensuring any buyer honors the union contract. The plant is currently for sale and attendance probation was also settled to curb absences.
