Gaines sticks to Sanders as Clinton convention shifts tone
Aiken delegate Ra Shad Gaines remains loyal to Bernie Sanders and skeptical of Hillary Clinton after the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. He questions Clinton's sincerity despite her appeal to Sanders supporters and praises Rev. William Barber II for his faith-led rhetoric. Aiken City Council member Lessie Price commends Clinton's preparation and inclusivity, noting Chelsea Clinton's introduction.
