S C Farm Bureau Federation President David Winkles presents Juniper Restaurant head chef Brandon Velie the seventh annual Palmetto Palate Top Chef Award at a fundraiser and silent auction. Velie led a record Palmetto Palate with 300 plus attendees at 701 Whaley in Columbia. Velie’s menu fused Manchester Farms quail Humble Roots pimento cheese Adjuh grits Titan Farms peach butter and fried green tomatoes. Velie now serves as S C Chef Ambassador for the Midlands.
