Zipplers Fund City Hall Clock In North Augusta
North Augusta will install two large clocks on the future city hall with the Zipplers covering one clock. Mayor Lark Jones announced at the July 7 council meeting that Don and Karolyn Zippler are paying the full cost for the clock, choosing its orientation toward Georgia Avenue or toward the Savannah River. City officials thanked the donors and noted the clock gift aligns with ongoing plans for a $17.6 million municipal center built by M B Kahn.
