Miners Rescue Two From Hotel Rubble Eleven Days After Quake
In Baguio Philippines two people were rescued from the collapsed Hyatt hotel eleven days after the July earthquake that killed more than 1,600. Luisa Mallorca and Ariel Calabia, both employees of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., were pulled from the third floor as dawn broke. They survived with cuts and dehydration while a male employee died four days earlier. Rescue teams search for any remaining survivors.
