Local Extra Lands Big Screen Role in The Patriot
Donnie Christopoulo of New Ellenton recalls landing a Patriot extra role after answering a newspaper ad. He describes early mornings, wardrobe, and the intense church-scene pressure plus his two to three weeks on set across a six month shoot. A Civil War reenactor for six years, he cherishes screen time and pursues woodworking, gardening, antique collecting, and pastel/seascape art when not filming.
