Augusta man charged after vehicle crashes into North Augusta apartment
Earl Jamahl Spencer 25 faces DUI failure to stop for blue lights and driving without a license after fleeing North Augusta officers and crashing into the 800 block of Georgetown Drive apartment building. A 77-year-old resident was treated on scene for debris injuries. Spencer was hospitalized briefly and released. adjoining unit was vacant.

Aiken County Council unanimously approved an amendment to raise the project cost for University Parkway and Lincoln Avenue work to up to 500000 dollars.
