Chattanooga Navy-Marine mass shooting details emerge

Officials outlined the Jefferson Army Reserve Center attack by Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez in Chattanooga Tennessee. He used an assault rifle handgun and extra ammunition vest to kill four Marines and mortally wound a sailor before police shot him dead.

Social Security and Medicare face funding gaps and possible cuts

The 2015 trustees report shows Social Security retirement funds can pay full benefits until 2035 while Medicare's hospital trust fund lasts until 2030. Yet about 11 million disabled Social Security beneficiaries could see automatic cuts next year without Congress action, and 7.5 million could face higher outpatient premiums.
