Suspect Sought After Robbery Attempt At Barton's Radiator
Aiken public safety and sheriff deputies searched for a suspect who entered Barton's Radiator and Electric on Rutland Drive Thursday, fired a handgun during a demand for money, fled on foot, and prompted a perimeter and bloodhound search. The description cited a black mask black gloves and dark clothing. The incident occurred around 5 p m according to Lt. Jake Mahoney.

An Aiken woman said her husband assaulted her at a relative’s Nautilus Road home. A Wagoner man said he was shot in the leg on Jeffcoat Road. A Graniteville woman fought with her boyfriend on Springdale Road over attention. A North Augusta woman reported leaf blower and rake stolen on Kirby Drive and another assaulted on Atomic Road over a pool game. Deputies found unprescribed pills on a Bath woman and responded to a Clearwater Jefferson Davis Highway break in with no missing items. WIC vouchers and a cell charger were stolen on Freiday Lane. A grocery store on Whiskey Road reported pork chops stolen and shoplifting. a vehicle on Richland Avenue was stolen. A suspect was found with drug paraphernalia after a Whiskey Road stop and a man arrested on Greenville Street for simple marijuana possession.
