Aiken man charged with murder

James Conway Gray, 30, of 1538 Hamilton Drive in Aiken, was charged with murder after a verbal altercation with 31-year-old Helen Magee at her Barton Brothers Lane residence turned violent. Autopsy found asphyxiation as the cause. two children under 10 witnessed and one called 911.
