The SCDNR believes multiple black bears are moving through the Aiken area. Bayne says agencies lack resources to confine them and bears typically seek plant material. Biologist Willie Simmons notes bears may migrate from Oconee/Pickens, with Conway near Myrtle Beach as the other state population. No harm reported if not disturbing property.
