Photos across divisions from professional to student are judged by SCPRT staff and professionals. Winners announced at contest end include a grand prize Edisto folding kayak with gear worth 2500 and best of show prizes such as park getaways and digital cameras. Photographers say pictures help showcase free state parks to locals and visitors.
Monthly contest runs through April 30 with divisions for professional amateur student and PRT employee. Categories cover landscape mammals birds other wildlife plant life and connecting with people.
