No Strike Centered Bargaining Ends After All Night Talks
In an all night bargaining session the Postal Service and four unions reached a three year contract with no layoff protections and cost of living adjustments. Voting on the pact could begin around August 1 as leaders weigh the agreement. The talks mirrored a 1975 pattern with late progress and a shift away from a two year union proposal. The Acropolis tops Greece’s list of tourist sites with more than 450,000 American visitors in 1977, followed by Mykonos and Poseidon’s Temple.
